Have you ever seen Mad Men? They talk about cigarette advertising in the 50's/60's. It's very interesting to see how smoking is viewed. Everyone smoked.
That is really funny, and kind of weird. But, I have also worked in a dental office where some of the staff smoked...you would think that since smoking drastically increases your chances of oral cancer and periodontal disease, which ultimately leads to tooth loss...that they would choose to NOT smoke. Whatever. Doctor's are the WORST patients too.
I used to work at an urgent care clinic. One of the MDs would stand in front of the clinic and smoke cigars all day long (in between patients). You couldn't enter the building without passing through his cloud of smoke. Many doctors don't care about prevention. I think chiropractors are where it's at!!

PS-I'm sure there are many DCs who smoke and many MDs who are super fit, but I am still biased. I love my chiropractor!!!
